Anyone managed to get hold of Alan Jackson recently? I have been trying to get an answer via my usual channels without luck - maybe it's just me ....
I have 01268 710111 as the contact number which has been bandied round on the forum before. Anyone with any better ideas?

01268710111 is what I have in my little black book. Maybe try the email that he's using for the sale of his boat. Talking of which, is BAU ok?

Tried both email addresses I have.
Mast is in two & a bit pieces - inversion failure about 1' above the pole eye + port spreader bracket root failure + mast foot tenon shattered - but BAU herself is still pristine aside from a screw rip out injury where the puller would have been attached. Need to unroll the sails as I think that the jib took a hammering on Sunday.
It must be that when boats get to 10 years old, things start to misbehave. We are suffering from a spate of block isses where the ropes are jumping off the sheave and wedging themselves down the cheeks (kite sheets, one-string block, shroud adjusters so far in the last two weeks). Sounds like more expensive boat bimbling required in the summer break whilst everyone is off at Salcombe & the Champs, still will make a change from playing with bilge keels. ;-)

Andy Alan has been doing his 'International Man of Mystery' act for a few days but has returned from his top secret mission today and made contact with me via e-mail, I'd just stick with it.

Yep, got a magic email too. Hopefully RobH / Jasper will not need the spare mast for Wicked before Salcombe (Rob - let me know when the beer tokens will need to be redeemed!).

Try Dave Chisholm at Carbonology in Hamble. Very professional in carbon repairs.
