After much soul searching, and frankly a very scary alternative (selling up!), we have finally worked out that sailing as a husband and wife team with two little persons (6 & 2) does not work, so my missus has graciously decided to step back for a while, so ..... "Business as Usual", Merlin 3626 needs a crew (or helm) for 2013.

Ideally, I need someone who can commit to a season or two of Merlin sailing, someone who is about 10 stone and of course, someone that will make me look good.

Merlin 3626 is a very pretty wooden Let it Ride design, we have a full on carbon kit and bits and all the toys - rope launch spinnaker poles, etc. 2012 North sails for Opens, little used 2010 Hydes for practice. The boat won the Championships in 2009 with her previous owner and I want her to get back to the front end of the fleet.

We are based in Tavistock, but work in Plymouth, so sailing could be on Plymouth Sound or at Starcross. I'd like to get to some Opens around the country too.
