Just followed the link to the Parkstone results (how did the racing go, incidentally?) to find the usual mayhem in helm and crew names, unless Bennie King has had something done that she/(he?) hasn't told us about. The boat names however have more delicious typos: I particularly liked Will's Suppery when Wet, which has a resonance for the feeling you get after 3 back-to-back's on a blowy day, and the suspiciously chilled Bong Number.

Mr Mills i fear you have been misinformed....the fine musician to which you refer is the fine blues player mr Ben .E .King,im a big fan,in my time i cannot recall him sailing merlins,but you could try alan warren, he might remember him taking part somewhere on one of his uk tours,the bennie king you refer to runs a burger bar in a layby near coventry under the name of the "bapmobile"...im not sure but i dont think he sails either... i could be wrong...(often am!) kind regards ditty bands
