Too proud not to share this video with you all, this really shows what is possible when you work hard.. from humble beginnings at R+M in Exmouth, aged just 16 Dave learnt the art of sailmaking, has been headhunted ever since, and just 5 years ago started his own sail loft, funded mainly by selling sails into the Merlin fleet... now he's making everything possible with two employees and currently at the I14 Worlds in a fantastic  boat, amazing crew and super sails!

It is promotional of course, but I wanted to share it with the Merlin fleet in particular because if it wasn't for the Merlins Dave wouldn't probably have even started up on his own! The merlin class is responsible for that, and our marriage and now our family... ;-)

I also just think its a brilliant bit of footage for those interested in how his sails are made!
