In the MR Year Book she's listed with the name 'Nor'. She was built in 1961 by Wyche and Coppock who were one of the leading MR builders at the time. She is an Ian Proctor designed MK XII which was probably the most popular design in the early 1960s.

The MK XII was generally considered to be a good performer in all conditions. They had a reasonable Championship record, Brian and Ken Ellis (no relation)won the 1964 Championship in 'Fantastica' no. 1314 and several other MK XIIs were placed in the first six in early 60s Championships. My brother John won the Silver Tiller in his MK XII 'Gazebo' no. 1241 in 1962.

They can still perform well on rivers.

"Nor" a Proctor Mk.XII was built by Wyche & Coppock & finished by the owner in 1960. The original owner was J. Trigg at Thames SC. A change of ownership by 1970 but still at Thames. A further change in owner saw her at BMYC by 1972. By 1977 another owner who lived in Stevenage (no club). Another owner in 1985 based in Abbots Langley, Herts (again no club). The last record (1997) is with this owner - A. Rhodes.

Dave, as long as you are a class association memeber, and have informed the Hon. Treasurer of your details, the yearbook records will be updated by the new Keeper of Class Records (Jeremey Deacon)automatically when the new 'book is written at the end of the year. It is better to email him if you have specific concerns as posts on the forum can get missed...
