Topic : Inlands and "older" boats

I know this is not Willy Warren's favourite subject, talking about the older boats competing in or alongside the brand new boats BUT..... The inlands are at QM and there are a multitude of clubs in the vicinity Hampton,Minima,Thames,UTSC,Cookham,Wombly,Ranbag and of course Tamesis, that all have many active older fleets that could add the the spactacle. Is there a possibiity to include a race older boats?

I can smell the varnish...........................

I would think that this is a great idea and can be organised.

Just to be clear -
the INLANDS is on the DE MAY series calendar. Where possible the De May is sailed as a one day event and usually on a Saturday so, the series event will be scored on the Saturday only although many older boats may sail on both days. For those sailing both days it may be better to start with the rest of the fleet - opinions to Mervyn, please.

Regards PY I can only answer for the De May event. Boats that qualify will score for that series off the De May handicap as published before the first race of the series. I cannot answer for the event as a whole - sorry, not my 'department'!
