I have a chipstow mast which we broke with one bounce off the bottom at hayling island. it is in 2 pieces cleanly broken at the shroud intersection. When Phil King had it it was very fast! Having had a credit crunch year and already owning a spare mast we have decided to sell it ! Anybody interested ? call or email me to discuss -- [email protected] 07773386080 THANKS

It wasn't that slow when I had it either Mike.... ;-)
If a simple repair well worth fixing

Get Dave Chisolm at Carbonology to repair it. Voila, as good as new to sell/ use again. One would say, the more times it is broken and repaired, the better they get. Like a fine wine or Jane Torville.

Sorry Ross, I wasn't implying you were slow only reminding how quick it was originally ! To be fair we probably all go as fast only Phil managed it more often/for longer !!!

Thanks Rob, I should look into it ! Is a simple one break repair expensive ? Presumably the price varies from repairer to repairer and how busy / windy they are, it has been.

In my experience the price of repairers are pretty close. The variation in cost would relate to the detail, like is the break on the track, or near a fixing point fo rthe lowers etc. You should be able to get a price by sending photos.
