I have been told this 1952 Wyche and Coppock built boat is in a field near Great Stainton, Stockton on Tees. If anyone is interested in collecting and restoring it the lady owner will consider giving it away if she can be kept up to date as the restoration progresses.

I have often seen this boat in the old year book and thought to myuself "What a great name for a Merlin - the best ever?"  It's almost worth restoring it for that alone!
