Another of my quick questions!

I have a mast for my MR (old Girl) 908. The jib halyard is knackered. Can Jib Halyards be constructed from high load low stretch rope like dyneema or the like?

I saw a N12 with a dynemma one once, suffice to say it was changed later that evening to a wire one. Since I am also having stretch problems with my D12 lowers, I would always recommend wire for any high load application ....

It was just a thought. The loadsI doubt will be very high given her age and the need to avoid the boat closing up like a clam with too much tension! Might give it a blast and see how I get on.
