Hi Mags

I am not sailing this weekend but will be at Tami (Teddington) the rest of March, and for most of the summer! I also hope to do some of the Vintage circuit. I have just restored a 9B and she is raring to go! If you are still free and keen, please call me on 0786 7982555!

We have Merlin class racing every Sunday at Wembley. Our class Captain John Donoghue keeps a weekly updated list of Merlin helms needing crews. We have a regular turn out of 6 to 10 boats. The fleet includes 6 Winder CTs and several NSMs. His numbers are 0208 459 3803 and 07951 011 553. I have just spoken to him, and he is happy to help.

Mags, further to Charlie Morgan's post, Tamesis hosts Merlin racing all year round with a 10.30am handicap race followed by a class race at 11.15am. This applies to the 16th and 30th March (the latter date being the final Winter Series race). Our Easter Regatta is on the 22nd and 23rd March with two races on Saturday afternoon and two on Sunday. So plenty of opportunity to crew. It would be good to see you down at Tammy.

Anyone need a crew for Chichester on the 20th April?

(Dare I risk offering my services to Dr Mills, or will my jinx still be active?!)

I have checked my diary and e-mailed Mags separately as I don't think I can sail on 20th. Presently negotiating arrangements to attempt the Salcombe weekend.

Have established that boat floats and all bits present and correct by going sailing at Hampton last weekend enlivened by little wind and lots of stream, will take a kedge next time!
