Topic : Need a boat for Salcombe

Just asking if anyone has a quick boat that I could use at Salcombe. Sails not needed as I have purchased a new set. Help I want to beat Alan Warren and more importantly Andrew Harris!

I have a 1967 proctor mk vii. It has cotton sails and i used tar last time i painted it to keep the water out. It should be more than sufficient if your goal is to beat Andrew harris.

I know a man with a single string winder. Would a charter fee be available?

I'd be happy to pay something if there was a one string winder available, either that or we could always help buy a jib or kite or something?
