I was informed today of the sad news of the death of Norman Wheeler. Norman had been a member since 1964 and even when he had finished sailing still stayed in contact with the class.

Im sure all of the members would want to send the a mesage of sympathy to his family and friends

Whist I never met Norman, friends and family may be interested to know that I am sailing his September Girl - 2529. She is a fine boat and competes well in club racing on the Thames as well as Merlin Vintage events. I hope that he would have approved.
