4/5th August is the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club's Classic Dinghy Weekend. This is a relaxed weekend with a good fleet of vintage Merlins. 'Racing' starts after lunch on Saturday and end in time for everyone to get home on Sunday. This weekend started off as an excuse to take old dinghies (and helms) out for a sail. 

NBYC probably has the best facilities available on UK inland waters and it's possible to camp at the club if you wish. Water levels are fine and we hope for good weather. Hope to see more Merlins! Jamie

Mervyn's crew won a prize!

Great weekend sailing.  Warm winds f3-5.  Sunshine (yet again) beuutiful surroundings and broads cruisers racing round the cans like they were dinghies!.  Thanks Jamie and NBYC, see you next year.
PS  If I had capsized would have have been in with a chance for "that prize"?
