Anyone fancy this project? must be worth saving?

Deck stepped, wooden boom and those side decks?  Earlier than 1980 for sure.

Looks like a late 1950's Wyche and Coppock or Chippendale

yes it definitely looks like W&C design circa mid late 50's XI or the like. I am currently restoring MR 908 'Wishbone' which too is a W&C XI and apart from the stern decking my boat looks exactly the same and she was made in 1958.

Is there a particular place to look for the sail number on these older boats? Thwart or hog? it would be interesting to try and find out which boat it is

Unless it's been replaced and assuming it had a certificate it will be on the thwart probablt quite lughtly stamped anyway buried under the paint or you'd see it!
