Ah Wivenhoe, I remember it well: the thriving sailing club, the wiff of methane off the marshes, pushing dinghies back home at low water, the Rose and Crown, and the parliament in the bus shelter on the quay. 1953 - 1963 were happy years. Looking forward to returning for the Brightlingsea w/e with 2789.
