Topic : Brass

Looking for a brass keel strake; can't manage to source one locally - any of those vintage boat sailors know of a source?

Cheers
Guy

Classic marine do it but also there was another link I came across the other day which I will try and find for you. Click the link below and type keelband into the search box.

Sorry - can't find it but did find that Brass band Solo was not a lot to do with dinghies but more to do with music!!!

You will also want screws I guess and this is a great site for all types at pretty reasonable cost though stainless steel prices have gone up (thanks to the Chinese demand for steel).

There is a shed in Essex with 1/4ins and 3/8 brass keel band sold by the inch with bass fixing pins. But loads of brass and the bloke ant good with the telephone. Emails on Thursdays only. And is not vintage by a long way
