Hello All,

We cannot get down to Shoreham until the Sat evening due to work committments at the Round the Island Race. 

1. Anyone got any advice on whether better to get down for Sat evening or Sunday morning (before you all say it, yes we would rather be rigged for the morning, and enjoy a couple of quiet beverages on the Sat evening!)

2. Therefore advice on staying somewhere, B+B, camping, friendly local sailors, etc etc muchos appreciated.

You can always be sure of an interesting evening at Shoreham if you get down on the saturday night and you can camp in the boat park.. My advice is to always remember to put your tent up before the drinking begins.. 
Shame I can only make the sunday this year so will miss out on the saturday night entertainment.

keep an eye on this web-site - if conditions  on Saturday are such that I can only get one race in the second race will be postponed until 1030 Sunday followed by the two races scheduled for Sunday.We'll let you know on this thread on Sat evening
