The boys do now have a mast with spreaders off of another merlin that they are restoring.

i have some pics of 1018 sinking at Midlands if anybody wants too see! got some shots from banbury/midlands too which i will upload, most of them are of 1018 but there are a few of other boats too. thanks for a great sailing weekend, pity we were taking on so much water. Need to replace the bailers as they let water in quicker than we can get it out!!! if you look closely at the pics from the midlands, you will slowly see the boat get lower in the water.

just finished uploading them, if anybody wants any pics from there, just email me the last 3 numbers of the photos and I will email them to you. busy trying to sort out the other mast, it came with 2986 and as I am going to deck step her, I can use that mast on 1018. tried putting it on her last week but the shrouds are too short so ill have to sort it out after the bailers.

just checked the results! Well done guys 1018 beat a lot of newer boats what a result in a boat built in '59

need a boat and a crew for sunday, bailers leak way to much to sail, and bruce is going up to nottingham for the weekeng, come to think of it, i need a ride to the club too!
