Well done to Joe, Tom and Rob for the video on the stand - It showed off Salcombe week and the boats magnificently.

I liked it alot and know how much time and effort must have gone into this project. We need more of this type of promo work.

Good Job Lads.

Cheers DL
There is plenty more footage saved up for the DVD, just need to find the time to get it finished.
If anyone has any videos they've made which aren't too wobbly, there is some room for an 'extras' section on the DVD. Any submissions please drop me a line.
Plus... any aspiring Voice-over artists out there please step forward!

I have hours of Super 8mm cine film of Salcombe Week and ST events from 1972 to about 1979. Does anyone have the technology to convert them to digital video? Professional conversion can be done for about £1 per minute if the MROA wants to help finance the conversion!

I would really love to see a training DVD. Could we spend a day filming one of the top boys going through the basics (upwind, downwind, tacks, gybes and kitework perhaps?)

Something like "Higher Faster" only with proper boats!

One way would be to capture the instructors on the training weekend perhaps?

Would anyone else part with 10-20 quid for this?

I would happily pay £20 for such a video. I suspect that this will not happen though as it may impact of attendance at the training events ????

You should use your real name if you feel that strongly about it.
