At the moment boys are not allowed to crew - I may allow it if you shave your legs and dress up in drag!

I do not think that is a sensible suggestion to make on this forum. There are several well-known Merlin boys who may take it as a challenge!!

I'd be up for it, if there are any available female crews, to stand in for my old man.

So far we have Jude & I in one boat and Nat Fuller in another needing a crew (no worries with that!)
I'm sure we can convince Lou Lou Johnson to helm one too, thats three boats and what about you Lucy - are you free to crew???
And then Claire stoppsy, Ellie, and Jilly and Anna Blake - Lizzy Page, Christina King and the rest of you girlie's lets get going for this one - Hayling Island in May will be just GLORIOUS - couldn't wish for a better place or time for such a wicked event!

And don't think you boys are going to get away with this one - I expect the lot of you to turn up in whatever craft you can preferably with a motor and volunteering to help with rescue (i.e. have a good leering-fest on a May Weekend!) and support us and make this a BIG EVENT!

Lets get it going on!!!!

Jude - we might have to put in a bit of practice this time to hold onto the title!

Can we have a list of boat owners here on this link willing to lend us girls their ships for the weekend, don't worry you can come down and watch!

Please, please, please, please, please, pretty please!!!

Bumping again - what about you northern Merlin girlies too - Jen and Pippa for starters! No excuses for being there in other boats!

To the boys...... all beer drinking trolley dollies welcome!!

A note on the lads attending - if any of you have your Powerboat Level 2 certificate, we could do with RIB drivers for the event! The tides are perfect for holding the racing outside....the problem is that it would take a Mirror ages to get to the race area...which might mean that they won't be able to come this time around. However, if we have a decent amount of support RIBs we could easily solve this by towing the slower boats out there. This would increase the entry possibilities AND we would have more safety cover for the less experienced racers. DO YOU HAVE A RIB YOU COULD BRING WITH YOU?? Get in touch if you want to help, or if you want to be put on the competitor mailing list!
