Cmon, its not that bad...unless you're being forced to work the weekend and cant go sailing?

I was meant to be on a half day today but have lots of 'stupid' people asking me to do things which they don't understand. Basicly every thing that should be simple is being complicated by people who are simple!!!

Dear me, no wonder you're miserable. Why not draw some plans for a revolutionmary new spinnaker pole system. That always cheers me up!

Depends if you are R&D or management!!

Perhaps i could father lots of kids and get paid thousands by the goverment to look after them like all these pikeys that are in the paper! That would sort it! Stay at home all day and have lots of fun at the same time!!

I need my new boat first before i invent a automatic gybing pole system, that would save some shouting in the boat!!

Right young Jezza me-lad, I have a solution.

Come to Bala Friday afternoon and chuck a sickie on Saturday. I promise you you won't be lying when you ring in Saturday AM saying "I don't feel very well".

There you go, easy.

Whilst we're talking shop, Mags, do you know how to turn text files into pdf without using a Windows box?

Not so sure that loads of kids is a good idea. I was sailing with a young lad at the weekend in 111 and find that I now have to learn a whole new language - problem is that when I asked him what language he was speaking I couldn't understand his reply. I think it involves a lot of grunting, mobile phones and phonetic spelling. At least he was out sailing and not getiing into bother on the street corners.

Would love to Jon but i am still waiting for my new boat and my crews Mrs won't let him out over night after the state he came back from the champs in!!!

Will see you all soon though.

I have proved a direct corellation between number of kids and free time available to spend sailing.

Sadly it is an inverse relationship.

Hmm, I think the seller ought to add "Horses pictured do not come with the boat."

He could have gone for the full description and called it "White boat"!!

You would think when trying to sell somthing so boring you would try and big it up a little?!
Do you think he has been using it as a trough for the horses then?

You bet, I'm nursing a 10 megaton hangover from too much Romanee Conte, a plane I was catching an hour ago has not arrived yet, my back is giving me gyp as a result of too much yotting.

How about Noah's Ark II? Jeremy, best solution for James re: getting a pass out for the Saturday night is not to have a girlfriend in the first place. Bit drastic, but it does tend to work! :)

Romanee Conte? Does this mean that the Ancient Geek is the world famous "Vintner" of the Wayfarer Fleet? Tell all!

Richard, I find the best thing is to have a girlfriend that has asimilar interest for the weekends. My Mrs rows on Saturdays and Sundays Most of the time so i get a free pass whenever i like! She may even come along once in a while.

Sorry to hear about your bad day Jeremy..... whatever you do, don't give up work as I'm counting on people like to pay my pension!

John, By the time i get to that point there will not be such thing as a pension!! So i can't give up as i need to make my own!!

Jeremy 3446. My spies tell me that you are now sailing under false colours! Re your recent message that your 'Mrs rows on Saturday and Sunday'..... please clarify... is that 'rows' as 'on the river/lake' or 'rows' as in'disagreement' clarification would be helpful... please avoid future ambiguities!

By: JB3066
Thats Rows as in on the river! Sorry for the miss understanding. You know me John never a word raised in anger!!

As the line goes "Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream."

It'd be a complete and utter nightmare if it weren't for Merlin Rockets!

And while we're on the subject of ambiguous English word pronounciation/meaning, couldn't the same confusion arise with 'bow'? Answer's on a postcard please!
