Topic : Champs Photo Disc

Did anybody manage to get hold of one of the discs that Wendy ay HISC made up? I tried to find one on Saturday morning but nobody knew how to get one. A copy would be good or if Wendy still has one can she send one to me?

Awsome champs by the way!!!

Duncan bought one on Friday night, but I don't know if it survived the evening in one piece! Try e-mailing him at [email protected]

Contact Wendy Gadd from HISC for a copy of the National Champs Photo Disc. Cost £5 plus shipping.

Jeremy, I have a copy of the disc and when I get a chance, could hunt out any pics of 3446 and email them to you.

Cheers Richard that would be great. Have you seen on the forum that the guy who owns Sweet Charity has smashed her up? Put a mention in that if it was repairable you may want her back, but he thinks it is a write off.

Ben/Jeremy,

Took a look at the pics (over 400) on a more powerful computer today. They're really good. I'll be noting the jpg file numbers for relevant ones (i.e. Tamesis boats) and can do the same for both of you tomorrow. I can email them to you then.

By the way, have finally bought myself a Merlin - 3233 Total Eclipse from a guy at Tamesis. Pretty much ready to race at the club.

Hi Richard, Cheers for doing that. What design is your new boat then?

It's a Rowsell Brothers built NSM, with varnished decks/insides and a black hull. Has been kept under the chicken/turkey run at the club with the alloy mast taken down after each race, so it's in pretty good nick. Just needs some minor repairs to the thwart which has come away from its fixing to the inside of the boat.

If I can get hold of a cheap 2nd-hand sovereign trailer, I'll try and do a few of the Thames series meetings and Salcombe next year.

I don't suppose any of the kind people who offered to send me a copy of the photo disc from the champs has managed to sort one out yet have they? I am dying to see the pics as there seems to be very few on the water shots elsewhere!

Jeremy,

If you send a cheque for a meager £6 to Wendy Gadd of HISC I am sure she will be glad to supply you with a legitimate copy!!

She advises there are circa 400 pics on the Cd so well worth the small outlay.

I lent my disc to a fellow Tammy member last week so he could post a few pics on the Tammy website. I'll be picking it up this weekend from him and will then search out relevant pics and email them onto you.
