Hey folks, spent last week tuning and rerigging my new shiny thing (NSM4) with more elastic than a local fettish market. Now all is peachy except for the lack of lowers. If I pull the ropes with too much enthusiasm the mast bananas sideways like something out of the Matrix dodging a bullet, so holes in the deck and lowers are a must.
However, woodwork and me don't quite see eye to eye. I cut straight and true with a carefull eye and nice sharp tools, and I end up with a mess and lots of filler - and likely a broken boat!
Soooo, I'm looking for a company or skilled individual in the Midlands who's done it before to fit some lowers. The mast already has the required fittings.
Any reccomendations/takers??
Cheers,
Stuart.

Find a good local boat builder ,with printed tuning guides under your arm and away you go.The best drill to use is a spur and bit .This will not splinter the wood. Good luck.
