the cover on my NSM has just about had it, and much duct tape later i've come to the decision that a new cover is a must.

Does anyone know of any good cover makers in the local area (Southampton), or does anyone know of any that I should avoid?

Sail Register are very good, not local to you, but they ship inexpensively, I bet they might have a pattern for your design. contact Mike Rimmer on 01469 589444

Sail register made me an excellent cover, it's worth paying extra for the better fabric. Mike will ask you for varios measurments. my new cover for a CT is a perfect fit and was cheaper than any other quotes i got
