MERLIN ROCKET FORUM

Topic : Spinnaker pole fittings

Has anyone found a chandlery that sells the bush/fairings for the outboard end of an (aluminium) merlin pole? The end where the guy ring is drawn into.

Cheers.

RSJ Barton of Whitstable sell a tuphnol deck bush that will do the job, alteratively they are easy and cheap enough to get turned up by your local engineer. Not sure where you live but the Boat Junk Shop at Bursledon Bridge just upstream from the bridge on the West Side of the Hamble sells everything you never knew you wanted! Even has new Novex Blocks so much better than the Harken ones! They are bound to have what you do want as well.

Mags,

I think you will find they are standard lined deck bushes epoxied into the ends - try Guildford Marine..

Mr GGGGGGGGGG is right.

They are ordinary Sea Sure deck bushes.
