Hi all we are trying to run an informal race training day on Saturday the1 st of July the day before the open at blithfield. The format will be to start at 12 oclock led by Matt Biggs, Paul Hollis and myself ( Steve Leney). Then a barbeque, which you bring your own meat and rolls. We will supply salad and dessert. Have a good drink, free discrete camping and bacon butties in the morning. The cost will be £35 for the weekend or £25 just for the Open. Can you please contact us asap so that we can get an idea of numbers and whether to go forward with this event.

Are you unsure of how the lowers, kicker, cunningham and outhaul all interact with each other to change your sail shape and the effect this has on your boats power? Uncertain of the effect rake has? These are just some of the areas that the trainners will deonstrate to you, one of the trainers with you in your boat explaining the mystery of these tweaks is far more effective for many people than readining it in a book or sitting in front of a whiteboard for hours on end. Support from the training team in ribs to check your understanding of these tweeks as you and your crew practice what youve been taught whilst sailing in mini races.
Friendly and "informal" training (no need to feel nervous or intimidated) from three of the Midlands areas top helms  but if its to happen we need you to sign up so dont delay enrole today!
