Andy "Taxi" Davis has got the new season off to an absolute flyer, after his sailing master class with Pip Kilsby at Burghfields big wind opener Taxi followed that victory up with another straight win at Wembley this time crewed by Alex Warren.

Keyser Soze his 12 year old Merlin had been proudly displayed at the recent RYA dinghy show, will the poster listing her Silver Tiller Championships need updating again? 

That remains to be seen but what is clear is that if you do look after your Merlin then you don't necessarily need to spend an absolute fortune to be competitive!
