Not in the pics, but in the text concerning Race 1 as follows "The result was a Fireball 1-2-3 both on the water and on handicap, with only the Merlin Rocket of Judith Massey and Phil Dalby, from Papercourt, breaking the Fireball domination by taking 4th place"!! Yes, Philly and I were there and that first race was just a sea of white Winder Fireballs all around us!

We left before the prizegiving but having just looked at the results, it seems we came a very respectable 7th out of 54, so we're pleased with that, considering we thought we'd blown out in the second race - going left on the first beat and getting to the windward mark behind Larks and Ents seemed pretty ignominious at the time!! Richard Estaugh was the only other Merlin there and he came 10th.
See link for full results.

A good day out though, very picturesque place to sail and pretty well organised. Weather was cloudy but bright, shifty northerly F2-3 with the occasional planing gust - marginal planing conditions for those Meatballs. Dave Winder and Pat Blake were hoping to be there but for various reasons couldn't make it - we missed you guys! I'm sure we could have kicked some more Fireball a**e between us if you'd been there!
