Snowflake series finished last Sunday, with a splendid day's sailing.  Merlins featured heavily in the overall results, John Bell in the new ship was first, followed by William Warren & Jilly Blake, Will Rainey & Rach Williamson and Jude & Philly Factor in their new ship.  There were also good showings by Andy Jones, periodic visits from Andy Dalby, and a bedding down series for Mike Stephens with 2005 crew Andy Douglas.  Team Scroggie appeared in force from Parkstone for the post-Christmas races, and also showed well.

Although the series has finished, there are three more weekends of racing arranged, since the start of the clubhouse redevelopment has bee delayed a few weeks.  Dates and full results can be seen at www.cyc.co.uk.  Another great winter's yachting done and dusted..

Quite agree Dobbie, we were 5th Merlin and qualified in the series.

Was another great series as always.

For those who are interested there is a small 6 race river series starting at Shoreham on the 13th Feb. 2 races a day.
