Hello, I manged to get 3019 into the water at the weekend. She went quite well despite the lack of wind and novice crew. Unfortunately she has got a leak about midships between the 4th and 5th planks down. When I checked from the underside it looks like the joint in the planks has split longitudinaly by about 250mm. A bit of tape should fix the leak but I would be grateful for guidance on whether it would be ok to use her on the water for the next few weeks or if that might cause more damage. Most importantly who would be able to repair her, preferably in the North West. Thanks, John |

Thanks. Not sure I wanted to see that. Is there anyone you would recommend who might do a proper job of this for me. |
Try Tim Harper in Southport |
Second vote for Tim Harper - he did a fantastic job of replacing a gunwale and side decking for me. |
If Tim is local to you, I would suggest he is worth talking to. I have seen his work and he is very skilled in keeping our pretty boats looking good! I recommended him to Chris and you can see how happy he is. |
Sorry it has taken a while for me to post. Third vote for Tim Harper. He did an excellent job on 3019 and provided a nice cover. Unfortunately she is due in for another dose of TLC. |
