We recently bought an old Merlin (Fang 3378) and are loving doing her up. (she may even make it to an open or 2 later on this year!). It's definitely a project on a budget though, so I thought I'd see if anyone would be interested in the below. 
 
She came with 2 rudders. 1 a normal 'lifting' one that I see us using and the other a fixed blade style which I don't think is going to be required. It's in ok condition, very light and I believe a balsa blade, carbon/fibreglass head and aluminium tiller. With a little filler, paint and love, I think it could be very nice. 
 
We're based down near Brighton, so happy to meet on the South Coast. No idea of the value of something like this so please feel free to make me an offer.

Need a photo really, a modern carbon sheathed one is worth about £150 +/- a bit depending on condition.
 
An older original 80's blade is probably worth more to you as a spare!
