Topic : eBay bargain

Thanks for the kind words Kieron.

3548 is still for sale as no bids on eBay which I am amassed about as over 700 viewed it and there was 42 watchers, looks like no one wants a bargain at the moment :-(

Thanks Alan, someone will love this boat I'm sure, but I am happy to look at it in my garage until it sells :-)

She is worth every penny of the asking price (and then some) but you did have a reserve of £2600 on her in case you didn't realise? She is worth a lot more to someone at the right time so unless you have to sell her then hang on and wait for the right buyer. I was going to buy her last year but she was sold just before I got the cash together so I had to save up some more to get 3571.

I've put a flag on the Merlin Rocket fan facebook page as I can't believe people aren't beating your door down. I guess just after Christmas is never a good time to ask people for money though?!

This is a stunning boat that I took a close look at before getting 3571... I would be tempted to buy her just to look at in the garage and at this price it is an absolute steal!!

I wouldn't hesitate - we sold her last year after 3 or 4 very satisfying years learning to sail merlins - we refurbished her and restrung to a '2 string' system (lowers move with the mast rake) which works really smoothly and put all of the carbon on. Darren seemed to get her going very well within days of getting on board - a really nice vice free boat.
