Heres a heads up for the Hampton Open Meetings this coming weekend.  De May on Saturday, Thames series on Sunday with first start not before 11:00 both days.  With decreasing stream on the Thames we are planning to go ahead as there is little rain in the forecast between now and the weekend, though if we have to cancel I will post again on Friday.
Several people have messaged on WhatsApp to let us know they are coming (or not) - this would be really helpful for catering so please message on here or on WhatsApp.

IMPORTANT:
Because of the current state of the Thames and the forecast for very light winds on Sunday, Hampton SC have made the decision to bring forward the Thames Series event to run on the Saturday, concurrently with the De May vintage.  Here is the amendment to the NoR; the amended NoR will be published on our website as soon as possible.  For clarity, there will be 3 races held on Saturday with the first warning signal not before 10:55.  Eligible boats will be able to score results for both the De May (with handicap applied) and the Thames series.

Because of the prevailing river conditions and the forecast for very light wind on Sunday 13th October, the club have made the decision to bring forward the Sunday racing to Saturday 12th October.  The Saturday racing will now be part both of the De May vintage series and of the Thames Series.  There will still be 3 races held with the first warning signal not before 10:55.  The amended sailing instructions will be posted on the Hampton Sailing Club website hamptonsailingclub.com as soon as possible.
