After a long and action packed life, Peter has sadly just passed away. Sailing was probably the main one of these. His and (wife) Gills Merlin era was back in the wooden boat time. They owned many beautiful boats from a number of builders, Spud of course being one of them. Their clubs were Hamble and Warsash. They attended many championships and events including Poole Weeks. They of course always wanted to overtake the boat in front but Peter and Gill were the lovely sort of people that really just enjoyed the shear love of sailing and being on the water and owning our lovely boats. Their sailing recently has been in the very active Shrimper fleet at Parkstone.
