It is with great sadness I heard that Ken Lawton had passed away last Sunday peacefully at home 
 
His wife Margaret and his 2 dogs where with him at home. I extend my deepest condolences to her.
 
Ken was a true gentleman always saying things with a smile.
 
An excellent sailor He started sailing Merlins at Tamesis in the 50 s and later sailed at Wembley where I first met him. 
 A very popular man and all that knew him will greatly miss his humour and company

I believe that Ken was a Master Baker and loved his witty boat names "Much Kneeded" and "Roll Tax" spring to mind.
