Trent Valley Sailing Clubs Merlin Rocket Open Meet planned for tomorrow Sunday 29th September has been postponed.
Due to the heavy rain of the past week the river Trent is currently running considerably higher and faster than is normal for this time of the year, add to that the short range weather forecast for the next 36 hours the club have taken the (sensible in my opinion) decision to request we postpone the event.
The proposal is to move the event back one week to the 6th October and make use of the open space on the Silver Tiller calendar to hold the Trent Valley event. 
The club are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and hope you will be able to support the event next weekend. 

Sorry to hear that - we really enjoying racing at Trent Valley. Unfortunately we are unable to do the 6th due to other commitments.
