Traffic update for those heading to Lymington this weekend. 
 
This weekend is a popular one in the forest for visitors and I am not just talking about Merlin Rocket sailors. Beaulieu is hosting their international autojumble on Saturday and Sunday so there will be an increase in traffic on both days. Allow extra time if travelling through Lyndhurst.
 
On Sunday morning you really must avoid Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst, as it's the New Forest Marathon. The Race start is from New Park Manor in Brockenhurst, which genuinely causes a gridlock heading south from the M27 into Lyndhurst up to New Park Manor itself.
 
 Don't let this put you off and the run traffic won't affect you unless you are travelling down only on Sunday.
 
If you are heading down this evening, please feel free to leave your boat on the club lawn, there is also a quiz night going on, so feel free to join in that!
