I would be delighted if you could come and join us for this
year’s Class Training at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy on the
20/21st April 2019. The event is open to everyone and all levels of
experience are very welcome to join. We will have plenty of coaches and
helpers, so the training will be tailored to suit everyone.

I will be leading the coaching team, assisted
by Jon Turner. More coaches will be added over the coming weeks, so watch this
space….

Over the weekend, we will look to work on improving your
boat speed and setup, racing tactics and boat handling. If you are able to
email me with any individual goals for the weekend, I will make sure we try and
tailor the plan – [email protected]

website, there is a link to an entry form for the event - here. I would be really
grateful if you could sign up as early as possible to allow us to properly plan
the weekend.

Training update - coaching team announced.
 
Lead coach and current National Champion Christian Birrell will be supported by Jon Turner, Mike Calvert, Sam Brearey, Richard Parslow and Jane Calvert as coaching staff for the weekend. The coaching team have a long list of World, European and National titles to their name, so the weekend will provide great insight for all levels. 

The syllabus will focus on rig setup, boat speed, boat handling and race tactics. There will be a mix of on the water sessions, morning briefings and evening de-briefs. We will try and organise a dinner in a local pub on Saturday night.

Sounds good, looking forward to you teaching me everything I've forgotten!

I thought we should bump this post back up the forum. 
This training is going to be excellent and really good value. We've got some great coaches who will be able to help you up your game regardless of where you are on the race track! 
Please sign up ASAP - I am sure you will not regret it! 

Is there likely to be another later in the year? Would love to join this one but looking doubtful.
