Bosham have pulled out all the stops to ensure that the Proctor Centenary get the sort of event that Ian's legacy deserves. They have even managed to attract a restored wartime Air-Sea Rescue launch, as a homage to Ian's war time service in the boats. Also attending will be the surviving members of the workforce from Jack Chippendale's workshop, who between them built so many of the iconic dinghies of the day. The media will be on hand, able to look at boats that will range from the Minisail to the Tempest....hopefully with lots of other wonderful boats in between. But if there is one class that really has that authentic Proctor stamp it is the Merlins….I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll see a good cross section of his merlin (and Rocket) designs on display, better still, out afloat Dougal
