A big change this year at Bourne End Week is that the Merlin River Championship will be competed for over three days (Sat 26th - Monday 28th) rather than over four as in previous years. The Wantage trophy will be awarded to the winners of the River Championship, which will be six races with one discard over the three days. Racing will continue on the Tuesday for those who want to stay on and the Yeves Challenge Plate will be awarded to the winning crew who compete over the four days. NOR and Online booking (you have to set up an account) is now open at www.utsc.org.uk and the sailing entry is £72 but discounted to £62 if you book before 21st May. All the usuals; camping in Sin City, Sunday 'Casablanca' Cocktail and Dinner party, beer from the Rebellion Brewery and the best sunsets on the Thames. First race is at 11am on the Saturday.

Hopefully we’ll have plenty of sunshine and wind. Plenty of beer, Pimm’s, wine etc is being ordered in for your enjoyment and there is a full social programme as usual.
