15 boats already entered.
Great mix of abilities from locals to National/European/World Champions! (Always helps when the Pascoe’s enter! 😉)

Hi Ollie as a potential first time attendee could you answer a question or two?

Is there camper parking at the club.
over nights toilets (for the girlies).
What are Saturday nights food options?

Cheers

Hi Martin,

There’s ample parking for camper vans and large vehicles outside the yacht club on the road, although there are no hook-ups. It’s an access only road so quiet in the evenings. Normal cars can drive into the club and park there.
The club grounds are accessed via a tunnel that runs under the train line so boats need to be unhitched and pulled through, with masts out of their mast gate.
I can leave you my gate key so that you can get onto club grounds and into the toilets or James Wells may well be in his van too and others.
The galley have an array of foods throughout the day and in the evening we will be ordering out for an Indian so should cater for everyone.

Hi Martin  / All Merlin sailors

Yes, we're intending to camp in the yellow bus. Club is all security gated these days, but no problem to sort out a key for toilet access overnight. Plenty of room for tents in the club grounds and the mild weather has been booked!

So, who else is going to come and play?! (Please ask those who've been in the last few years; sunshine in Devon in beautiful surroundings without driving the extra hour to Salcombe!) You'll receive a warm welcome, with competition throughout the fleet.

No financial commitment required at the moment, but we'd be grateful if you are thinking to coming along of entering on the Starcross website ('Opens' tab) to help us with planning please.

See you Saturday???

I've just been informed that the there is a problem with the hot water system in the club changing rooms and that this won't be fixed before the weekend.  Unfortunately this means there will be no hot showers over the weekend, so a huge apology in advance to all competitors.

The good news is that the weather forecast is looking fine for the weekend, and of course you can be assured of a warm welcome!
