Hi All, just to make you aware that Sea Kayak Salcombe are trying to get some support re planning application for the old Tides Reach Hotel site.  It appears Salcombe Harbour Hotel has bought the site and is applying for a big hotel... one consequence being they have closed off what has been used for decades as a public car park... impact on access to the beach and small beach businesses is significant.  You can view/comment/object on SHDC planning site... info on Sea Kayak Salcombe facebook page.
