Hi All.
 
 Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Pwllheli for their pre-Nationals shakedown.
What can we offer - courtesy of Neil Williams (Events Manager Plas Heli) and Chris Hopkins (your RO): 
 
   * Fantastic welcome
   * 5-race series (4 to count) using the "Champ's" sausage/triangle with leeward gate
   * 12.55 Warning Signal Sat/10.55 Warning Signal Sun
   * Beach launch to race area - 30 mins
   * RYA Arbitration available
   * Sailors' Supper Sat pm
   * Onsite campervan/motorhome pitches.  Camping 1 mile down the road.
   * Entry £30
Hope you can all make it. Angela and I will be there to say hello and get your feedback, ready for the main event in August.

I'm confused by your two posts!
 
What's on offer for £8.50 on Saturday?? 
 
Starter 
Soup or veggie spring roles or is it either? (Seeing as its a land full of sheep why no meat spring role?) 
 
Main 
Pie (what's in them?) Lasagne or Sweet and sour chicken?
 
Sorry buts its not very clear to me

Sat Supper menu as per 2nd post. Starter -'Spring Roll. Main -choice of sweet & sour chicken or vegetable lasagne. £8.50. Desert Menu for those not dieting. Sorry for any confusion. Weather here still fantastic. Clear blue sky and great sailing breeze. All welcome but heads up on numbers would be really helpful.

15 boats made it to the boat park and 14 onto the water for today's 3 races. Fleet includes current and 2 former Chairmen and 2 Bronze Fleet winners from previous Champs. Fleet currently on first beat of Race 3 in steady F4 gusting F6! There will be some tired bodies in the bar tonight. Will try and get Day 1 results posted on the Forum if possible.

A big thank you to Ian, Angela and the all the team at Pwllheli for putting on a great weekend. The wind blew, the waves rolled, and the sun shone. Yesterday was quite possibly the best sail we have had in a long time. Please can we have those conditions for the 6 days of the champs!

Come and join us in August. For Under 25, First Time Entrant or boats before 3572, £90 entry (by 1 July 17) and camping accommodation (no electric) within 5 mins walk - £62.50. Has there ever been a better offer for a 9-race series, 4 nights food and full on social programme?
