Hi - does anyone have any information on 3143 which I think is a NSM1 build by Rowells in 1978.
We have sailed lasers but are currently boat less and thinking of buying a MR. Have viewed 3143 and it seems sound but does require some work which we are happy to do for the price. Current owner does not have a certificate so can anyone advise how to get one.

M/R 3143 "Phoenix 2" is indeed a NSM1 whose first owner was John Houghton a member of Ranelagh SC.   By 1985 she was in Whitstable owned by a D. Johnson and in1986 was at Earlswood Lakes SC.  Another move in 1988 to Severn SC and again in 1990 to a D. Taylor at Rudyard Lake SC, who is the last recorded owner in the Year Books.
Regarding a certificate, you should contact the Royal Yachting Association who will be able to assist you.
