In case anyone missed the change - Ranelagh open meeting, the final Thames series event of the season is this coming Sunday 25th October.
 
11am start.  Normal race, heading towards Hammersmith and loops of some description to follow.
 
£10 entry fee.  Free bacon rolls and tea and coffee on arrival, free meal after racing.
 
Parking is free up the side roads.
 
It is unfortunate that this clashes with Blithfield, sadly it was inevitable once the Port of London Authority decided a rowing race should have priority on the original date.
 
Ranelagh loves a merlin open meeting, I hope the Thames regulars can all make it.
 
As mentioned in the other thread - the Thames series is wide open!!!

Sadly not - the 25th October turned out to be a windless day almost nationwide I think - add into that a knot or two of tide and the only option was to cancel.  A great shame as its a lovely trophy and October at Ranelagh can produce some fantastic blustery conditions.  But not that day.

Hi Fran, Do we have dates yet for next year's Ranelagh opens I know they will depend on the tide times to some extent .
