The N.O.R. for the Kielder Water May Open Regatta (including the Dam to Dam distance race on the Monday) is now up on the Kielder Water SC site at http://www.kielderwatersc.org/open-meetings/openevents.html
 
This is a great event - stunning location, friendly club and easy camping onsite at the side of the loch, which is hemmed by Border hills and forest. The plan is to run both line and handicap results, and it would be great to see some Northern English Merlins there! Only £30 entry as well, bargain. First gun at 1pm on the Saturday. "The May Open is to be held on the 2nd to 4th. There will be separate start for 5 or more boats. As per last year, we will have 2 days of handicap racing (6 races) on the Saturday and Sunday then the Dam-to-Dam handicap challenge on the Monday with a course of approx 14 miles.

There will be camping on site for tents or motorhomes, with a galley laid on all weekend.
