I visited the Merlin stand on Saturday for the first time since rejoining the class after a 20 year absence.  All I can say is as a returnee to the fleet I was really impressed.  The boats were outstanding, One love is breathtaking and turned many heads.  My copy of Real Magic was the envy of many that I used to sail with on the Flying Fifteen stand- well done and thanks Dougal.
 
I sail at Llangorse SC in South Wales and am currently the only Merlin at the club - but I'm working on it.  As a result I asked a lot of questions whilst I had access to some expertise.  Ben Archer provided me with some great help and advice - Thanks Ben.  A chat with Duncan and Harriet was also very useful.
 
So thanks to all the efforts of those involved. See you next year and maybe around the circuit, I am currently developing my 11 year  old Daughter as a crew.
