Need to get the trophy engraved for the 2014 Inlands old boats plate (Trent Valley Trophy?) but there were no entries for 2011-2013 which leaves me with a few options:
1. Just get it engraved for 2014 and ignore that 2011-2013 happened (seems a little harsh on those that won in the intervening years and doesn't look great on the trophy; maybe the trophy went a little AWOL and wasn't awarded, the recipients weren't aware/forgot they needed to get it engraved or (more controversially) the recipients didn't want to arrange or pay for this privilege...)
2. Try and estimate the gap that would be needed for the three missing years (engraver doesn't like this approach as it's hard to align once the year is written but if we're struggling this may be the best option to just leave a space for the years and names for now)
3. Ask the very knowledgeable Merlin community who will of course know the answer :-)
The tradition is to have Helm and Crew and boat number...
Trophy is with the engraver who is putting pressure on to get the information, I'll go with option 2 if we can't dig out the information soon (seems the least controversial, even if it does give some poor engraver in the future a headache)

Anna and I won it when it was at Draycote but I do not think we ever received the plate and I can't remember what year that was. I'll check the year book if I can remember where I put it.

I've had a look at the past yearbooks and it appears that it was:
2011 - Simon Bond & Anna Carr 3573 - Rong Number
2012 - Chris Martin & Tom Dunne 3583 - Back to the Future 
2013 - Richard Dee & Chris Gould 3610 - Needlemakers
