Hi guys, I'm new to the class only just having bought my first merlin 3346 last weekend, a few things need doing that I need some help with, I need to source a carbon rig, Boom, and one more pole. Also a newer set of sails and a rudder.
If you could help with any of the above that would be most appreciated.
Alex

Hi Alex, Congratulations on buying your first Merlin, You will not regret it! I have a Fixed rudder that I am about to sell and I have loads of sails I am about to clear out that range from 2 years old to 4/5 years all of which have done 2 seasons at most. If you want to talk to me about them drop me a line. Jeremy Deacon 07957 593148

It's nice to know that Galactic Gnu is still alive, we owned her in the 90's. Where are you planning to sail?

I sail her in Suffolk at alton water, hopefully with some carbon bits and a small overhaul she will be back to top competition level.

We sailed her at Hampton and Salcombe, she was our first Merlin too in 2004. I fixed the name transfers to the stern and was really proud until someone pointed out that it seemed to read Salactic Snu....have fun!

Mark, Sorry I have been slightly preoccupied, I am in the process of tidying the boat and hopefully redesigning the thwart to make it more ergonomical and aesthetically pleasing, so I also pose a question as to the best way to go about replacing one and designing a new one Do you have an email address which I can contact you on as i am keen to get a carbon mast.
