RIP : ROBERT HUGHES (Died 4th Dec '14) - Sail No 1625

Dear MR Members
 
My father, Robert Hughes died on December 4th 2014 aged 72.
 
He was an active MR sailer in his youth and I found this picture of him and mum sailing at either a Silver Tiller event or 'Cock of the North' in 1967/1968.
 
I am interested to know if anyone knows anything about the boat - Sail No 1625 (possibly known as 'Thunderbolt' at the time) - or knew my Dad from his days at Burton Sailing club, in the Midlands.
 
Dad also worked with Jack Chippendale circa 1977.
